I thought this show would be of interest to you guys. If you were not already aware of it here is the date and time it will be airing:
3/29/2006 8:30 am - 9:00 am
Just up the road from the fly shop is where Connecticut fly fisherman Don Butler works; the Pine Meadow House, and its also home of art-fly master Paul Rossman. Paul is an artist and chef of high caliber, and creates old-time salmon flies the like of which you've never seen. This week we join Don, Paul, and a few friends on the fabled Farmington River for small-fly, small-tippet December dry-fly fishing.

I did hear something about that. I will definitely check it out. Don works at Upcountry, and Troutfitter is going to see if he would be interested in keeping a column here once the site takes off.

Great to see the show. Don was a natural. Just being himself.
I was hoping to see some footage of some of the early summer hatches when the bugs are thick in the air. That must be Farmington River Part II. :-)

I thought Don looked great.
The Farmington doesn't really need any more attention from the world at the moment but its that attention that will eventually transform the river into a great one... When its value is fully recognised by the state, we will get the protections we need to keep it.

So very true. Its a double edge sword.

I have it saved on my DVR. Does anybody know a way to download it off of there into another format?

I haven't heard from OLN yet. They may be ignoring me. I may post it to a location that can only be viewed by request. I'll let you know if and when this happens.

Okay, those who are registered on Flyaddict Home can view the OLN video. It is under the user menu. FR Exclusive on OLN.
I still have not heard back from OLN, so we will see how long this stays up.
Try and be mindful of the traffic. If you see a lot of people logged in(bottom right of home page), they may be viewing the video. It runs about 18 minutes with no commercials.
Enjoy

Looks like www.macromedia.com is offline at the moment so if you don't have the plug-in I'm sorry. You will have to wait until its back up.

I am "registered" here, in one place or the other (very confusing  ) but cannot find the "user menu" you refer to so I cannot find the video ... please help a "registered maybe" subscriber. :)
thanks,
Ken

If you log onto the main page (not the forum), you will see menus on the left of the screen. Right beneath the link to area maps there is a "User Menu" and beneath that a link to the OLN program.

Just as I said on the main site. www.flyaddict.com. You register on the home and on the forum. I'm sorry about that but its the way it has to be at the moment.
The user menu is not visible to those who are not logged-in.
I saw the show and thought it was great, I would love a copy if they become available.
