Does anyone have any experience with the west branch stockingfoots? I have a significant amount of credits at LL Bean that will expire soon and could use a new pair of waders anyways. Any other ideas on fishing related purchases would also be great.
Please note I am certainly an advocate of purchasing locally, however my wife has actually given these to me, as there really is nothing that she was looking for right now, and they do expire.
Thanks in advance,

Yup. I've had a pair for 18 months. They're A-OK. My pair is not Gore-Tex; I'm not sure if the newer editions are. That would be my only complaint.
While I likewise share your philosophy of buying locally, I'm a big Bean fan. You can return stuff if it goes bad, no questions asked, and they'll replace it.

I just purchased a pair, have been out twice and I really like them. The only thing I'm not happy with is the suspenders, the straps are a little short.

I have been using these for the last year and they are wonderful. The belt attachment is nice in that it is always attached and the bib pocket is useful for a nymph case.

Well, I need to take back what I said about the W. Branch waders. I recently had to return the second pair for mysterious leaks that I could not find. Aqua seal didn't work - the first pair was smeard with the stuff and still water was getting in. Same problem that I had with the first pair and thought it was just my luck. But two in a row?
I checked the materials of the newer style with the older and the inside of the newer w. branch are rubber lined, which I believe has something to do with the problem. It is a gradual decreasing affect of water proofing so much so that I was ending up with water in the stocking feet and always soaking wet. I could look down at the ankle area and see actual air bubbles and then feel water dribbling in. :?
