Marlborough show this weekend & it's looking like snow on Fri...which is the only day I can go because I work weekends. I'm having fishing withdrawals because I haven't been out in 2wks.....I definitely have to go to the Somerset show next Fri because I must have an autographed book by A.K.Best in my bookcase BUT.....I see snow coming next week too.
Am I the only one stressing over this ???

Yes you are the only one stressing. :D
We have not had any snow yet this year. What's to believe that the weatherman will be right on his or her first forecast of snow this year?

Is there any major difference between the Marlboroough and Somerset shows?' I am planning on going to the Somerset show and was wondering if it was worth it to make the schlep up to MA for the Marlborough show...

Somerset is usually a larger show with bigger attendance.

Edit: I would note make the ride to Marlborough if you are going to Somerset.

If you look at the list of exhibitors, there are about twice as many booths at Somerset compared to Marlborough. Even though it is about a 1/2 hour longer drive for me, I'm going to Somerset. It's worth it to me.

Too bad that we don't have Flyaddict hats for the Somerset show.... I would like to say Hi to some of you guys in person.

Somerset is 70%-80% guides/outfitters, and about the same for fly fishing/tying as Marlboro.

The only good thing about the show is you may find some rare materials you normally wouldnt get your hands on, and you can test out any of the new series of rods and reels offered by the various companies...
