Last season I somehow cracked the butt section of the tip piece of my TFO TiCr #10. Upon inspecting the rod before heading out I noticed the crack. It must have happened sometime last season on one of the last few skunk outtings of the year. Haven't been out since last October so it had to have cracked back then.

Of course I never sent the registration card in and probably chucked it along with the receipt because I couldn't find either. I'm thinking I'm going to have to buy a new salt water rod and my pregnant wife is going to go ballistic. Not that I wouldn''t mind purchasing another fly rod. One can't have too many fly rods.

I've digressed. I also didn't think I would be able to get the rod repaired under the warranty.

Called TFO up and they said to send it on in with the $25 shipping and handling fee. No questions asked. They received the rod on Monday and I got it back on Thursday the same week with the rod in full repair. Looks like they completely replaced the two rod sections. :)

I give Temple Fork Outfitters 5 stars for excellent customer service and an affordable quality product. Thanks Temple Fork.
