I saw plans for a tiers bench on line a while back. But I can"t remember where it was (tough to get old). I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction. Thank you.

Dear Digger, are you handy with scraps of wood and some nails? Cause that's all it takes. I looked at some commercial models in catalogs and on the internet, (formats are basically the same) and built my own in an afternoon. It's good looking and it's very functional. If you're serious I would send you pictures so you would have an idea how simple it is to make.

Another angle to save a few dollars is to call your local countertop or cabinet shop for the sink cutouts from kitchen counters. These are already laminated on one side, all you have to do is square it up, but on some wood edging and your ready to go. The cutouts are heavy enough so it won't slide around and you can build the thread holders, tool holders and such to your liking.
Good Luck
