Anyone try Parasol Emergers before? I've only read about them.

I have a few parasol pheasant tails. I tried them once on the Farmington when the fish were eating something just below the surface but didn't hook up. I also tried them last June in the Catskills, but only got missed strikes/refusals, no solid hook ups. The water was dreadfully low and clear, and the fish very selective. Seems like a good concept and a good tool for the right application.....

Those things sure look funny but they are deadly. I fished them for the first time last season. Great fish catcher.

Well last year the water as you know was extremely low. The flow couldn't have been more than 100-110cfs. Fished them in the heads of pools coming out of the faster water. I really didn't dress mine as heavy the one shown. I used a little tuft of cdc.
