View Full Version : CT Patterns
Hey all I haven't been to CT in some time and was wondering if there are any goto local patterns I wouldn't know about. I have fished the farmington river pretty extensively back when i was 16 or 17 but that was better then 3 years ago so i've really been out of the loop I fly in to hartford on the 9th of august and will probably stop in upcountry immediately to pick up my license and a few flies more likely than not.
But until then im sitting around tying at work and need a few flies to finish filling the boxes
Thanks, Sean

Hatch guide for new england streams may help. It's a good book for the farmington.

Little CDC winter/summer caddis are killers! Easy to tie and deadly.

I've looked online for a pattern for a winter/summer caddis, but I can never seem to find one. I assume they are tied with a cdc wing, but maybe i'm wrong. I the body dubbed? Is it hackled like a henryville? Any information would be helpful.
