hello. I was wondering how these rods came out? I visit georges shop once or twice a year. he's a great guy. I've always been intrigued by the stacks of Septre rods he had laying around. So, last week I finally drove over to the shop and decided to buy one. I knew what they were from previous conversations I have had with him. But they have been sitting there for 35 years, so I figured time was on my side. Well, I got there only to learn he sold the last ones on ebay the week prior. This broke my heart. He did however tell me if he had any left over than never made into the auction(anglersmail is an old style cluttered shop) he would give me a call. Two days later he called me and told me he found a 7ft rod. I bought it. Figuring this will be my Penns Creek and Au Sable rods.

Now I'm looking for someone to build it. One of the guys at the shop told me had had one of the rods you built off these blanks. #3 I think. They said you do great work. Do you have any pics of the finished rods you built off these blanks?
