Made it to the Somerset flyfishing show......the crowds were there but not alot of bargains.....got almost everything on my list....I was on a mission to find Woodchusk tails....one vendor had a few last week at Marlborough but sold them. One booth had some nice full ones but they were dyed orange....he said he had a bunch of the natural ones back in his room & he would have them tomorrow so why not come back ?......?? I told him not alot of people attend all 3 days of the show & left . I'll have to wait till I go up to the Adirondacks for the 2 Fly contest in May. All in all I had a good time & managed to avoid the temptation of testing any rods/reels. Alittle sad about this being the last Flyfishing show for the year. I think we need more. Should anyone be going this weekend have a safe trip & remember.. theres a reason why New Jersey pays the highest car insurance...I almost lost the front end of my car 3 times.
