Not sure if it has been mentioned here, but Bristol Bay, Alaska has been a hot issue within a lot of fly fishing communities....I can list more information if it hasn't been posted already. It's certainly something to become informed about as a fly fisherman...

I went to AEG media's fly fishing film tour last week in NYC and saving Bristol Bay was the underlying theme of this year's tour. They played two movies, I think the felt soul media film was one of them.

It will be an absolute shame if the pebble mine is allowed to be dug. I have never been to Alaska, but would like to go someday.
