When applying JC feathers to my featherwing streamers
I use Cellire, thats allowed to thicken

Apply a drop to a piece of index card

Using a bodkin apply a bit of the cement to the backside of the JC nail

Then tie in to wing of fly

This method protects a fragile feather. I have streamers that have taken many landlocked salmon and this feather is still intact.
