I still find caddis hatches the most frustrating. Wondering what favorite patterns you guys have for the Farmington when the fish are taking caddis.

My favorite pattern is the Gary LaFontaine ESP (emergent sparkle pupa). Make sure you tie it with the "overblouse" sparsely so you can see the touch dubbing clearly underneath. I usually fish it without floatant or floatant only on the deer hair wing so it floats in the film. A little twitch now and then seems to be more effective, as well. Most commercially tied patterns are too heavily dressed, in my opinion. You can clip a few of the antron threads to "sparse it down".

Those were great tying instructions. Great site. FLy Addict should produce directions like that for Framington River patterns!
