I did that with 2 blackberry phones ( in the same month ), now I purchased a cheap $30 per paid phone to use whenever my waders are on.

if you have verizon, then there is this phone the Verizon Wireless G'Zone. It a waterproof, shockproof, phone capable to withstand anything. It's kind of a bulkiy phone though but my cousins fiancee has it and he has had 2 by 4's and sparks and a bunch of crap fall on it but it didn't even get damaged.

yeah i was just at verison looking at one of them cuz my phone got wet too. they aint cheap but very worth while.

I've got the GZOne phone.
It takes a beating, it also takes a pretty decent picture if you can hold it still enough. It has this thing they call a "bumper"on it that is supposed to protect the connection area, great ot tie a string onto.
