Comparing the Trilene Knot to the Improved Clinch Knot

Very interesting.

I've always used the trilene knot for larger streamers or large fish and the improved clinch for smaller trout flies. I found that if a fish breaks me off it's usually the knot from the leader to the tippet. On the water I usually use the surgeons ,quick and easy to tie,but if I have some time I try to use the blood.
