hey all. I've been trying out the tips and maps in this book( the fishermans bible) lately and they are great! the photos and maps are quite accurate and are a big help in finding a good spot. I've had some pretty good luck, and must admit its as a result of the maps and tips. though i feel my technique is improving.

Sounds like you're finding your own way (in more ways than one). Good job. :-)

thanks for the kudos glad you're enjoying it and are getting time in on the famed Farmington. A bunch of us are heading out Friday evening to fish the front side of the low pressure system, you're more than welcome.

Great pub for the Farmington River. (Fisherman's Bible) Graphics, Tips, information all top notch. Not one to sign up and/or log in, but felt it right to comment on this great book.

Is that the name of the book? "Fisherman's Bible"? Who is the author? I looked in the Fly Addict bookstore and couldn't find it.

your author is River1 on this forum. You can find it at Upcountry and other fishing shops... River1(Pete) could tell you the other shops.

I ordered it from the DEP website awhile back and it came in the mail very fast. Great book.

Thanks to
Seams Murph and Todd

The regular suspects (the 3 major outfitters New Hartford, Cornwall & Darien) all are stocked back up, to include some indy book stores and package stores along the river from routes 10&4 and north.
