Here is a link to a weekly column outdoor writer Dick Alley writes in The Hour newspaper, a paper out of Norwalk. Last weeks column was on fly tying. Dick has written for many fishing publications. Dick was also a good friend of my late father. I told him to check out Fly Addict and he really liked the site. Not sure if he joined as of yet. I also told another friend who is into salty fly fishing to join.
Here's Dick's article, enjoy:

Camped next to Mr Alley at Nickerson Campground on the Natchaug the week of opening day 17-18 years ago. We we the only ones in the whole place during most of the week.
Nice fella, glad to hear he's still around.

Dick is a great writer and helped a lot of people. I knew him from days at the old Wesport Tackle shop owned by Ed Boland.
I enjoyed reading his articles in the Fishing New England weekly paper. I took him out fluke fishing off Montauk a few years ago and can say he still knows how to catch em.

Welcome aboard, Dick. Anyone who's nuts for subsurface fishing is a friend of mine. :-)
