My wife and I headed to fish the picnic tables just below Ovation. We were the only people there and only car in the parking lot at about 7:30.
A red Acura pulls up right near my truck, now the lot is huge, could have pulled up anywhere else. My wife had strung her rod up with the reel backwards and hadn't been in the water yet and was fixing her problem at a p;icnic table. She alerted me of the car. We watched, first one male about 20-25 years old gets out and is looking around and is bouncing a basketball, then lets a big dog out of the car. A second male about the same age age gets out of the car and they procede to throw the ball around for the dog, bounced it off my truck a couple of times. We continued to watch for a few minutes hoping they would get the drift that we knew they were there. They didn't leave. So I gave my wife the keys so she could unlock her door first and get in on her side when we walked back to the truck, I was going to put the rods in the back of the truck and drive down to the firehouse to take our waders off. I mean they were parked close enough that I had to turn sharp to back out without hitting their car.
My thoughts was they were going to break in steal whatever they found. Appeared to be friendly, but just very creapy all together.
Anyone else ever experience anything like this by the Farmington?
