Open Invitation to all members of Fly Addict:
January 18, 2009
To All Members of the Fly Addict .com
The Connecticut Rhode Island Coastal Fly Fishers (CTRI) extends a cordial invitation to all members of Fly Addict to attend our second annual Fly Tying Consortium on February 22nd. The consortium was initiated to bring fly tiers of all levels and interests together for a day of camaraderie. Admission is free and is a non-commercial event.
Tiers should bring their vises, tools and materials. No matter whether your interests is trout, bass, salmon, saltwater or carp, the intent is to bring clubs and individuals together to share patterns, techniques and stories about this special aspect of the sport we love.
Non tiers and novices are encouraged to attend. It’s a great opportunity to learn to tie a fly with an experienced tier. CTRI members will provide hands basic instruction. Children accompanied by an adult are welcome.
The consortium will be held at the South Kensington Fire House located on Route 71, in the Kensington section of Berlin, CT. from 11 AM to 4 PM.
For more information or detailed directions contact Bob Salerno at Captbob317@comcast.net (Captbob317@comcast.net).
CTRI looks forward to meeting many of the Fly Addict members.
