FYI Orvis clearance in Norwalk

At the old Comp USA building in Norwalk, on Connecticut Ave there is an Orvis Clearance warehouse, they have a bunch of fly rods, fly reels, accessories and clothing for anywhere between 30-75% off, most of the fly rods and reels are 50% off. There are some deals to be had if anyone is interested.

I don't know about the sales now, but around Christmas and after wards, there were reels going for 30 bucks and Clearwaters going for 89 dollars. They also have lines and leaders and flies. Packaged tapered leaders (2 in each packet) for 5 cents each.

I met a guy looking for a fly rod and reel, he got a Clearwater 9' 9 wt and a large arbor titanium battenkill reel for around $240. A steal in my opinion. Im not a fan of the Orvis lines, but at $18 could be a good back up or for practing with.

Is it still going on? I thought they extended it by one week which ended this past Sunday. But I have been wrong before (more than I can count)

I was there today, and they had a decent amount of stuff, I would imagine at least another week or so.
