I just posted this in the Mill River thread mess I started but figured I would post it here also:

I agree with what everyone is saying and again I apologize for starting all this. I am very aware of the sites policy about spots and I have stated a few times here that I was not looking for spot, just checking which river had been spoken about. I think that we all understand the deal and I hope we can just get back to talking about fly fishing. When I posted the message about the fake spot I really thought it would be taken as a joke and not as me being sarcastic or a "troll" or whatever it is you want to call it. I just thought that everyone was now on the same page and we could move on. Again, I am sorry I started this and will refrain from asking similar questions in the future. Hopefully the next time I start a thread titled "Mill River" it will be after I fish it.

What we're saying is that if you fish a WTMA or other non-stocked small stream, just don't name it in your post. You can call it a small stream in Litchfield county, no-name brook, Stream X, the mystery stream, whatever.

Check out some of BRK TRT's posts to see how he manages to tell a nice small stream story without divulging any unnecessary details. :-)
