It's been a long winter, and we know everyone is eager to get out and fish.

Cabin fever aside, there has been too much nonsense on the forums lately. We've done some trimming of the membership, but this is a last resort measure we'd rather not take. Please remember that when you're on Flyaddict that courtesy counts. Respect one another, and if you have a problem with someone, try to resolve it through PMs. Show some respect for the moderators — their job is not an easy one.

Speaking of moderators, we've added another helping hand. Please join me in welcoming Jon Atherton to the Flyaddict staff.

Do I have to recap it? Not worth going into really. You may find bits and pieces by reading.

- I would say sympathies. I'm glad Jon could give us a hand and understands what comes with it.

Moderators qualifications:
1) one who has been around a while.
2) has shown to follow guidelines of the forum
3) posts show respect and thought out answers

I know Todd. It was a joke and didn't require a serious answer....I've been around a while...but ummmm the rest of the qualifications I can't speak for. I know you guys have a tough job. I like to think I'm here to keep you guys on your toes. I would never want to be a moderator.....I'd probably be the first mod to ever get the boot.

in all honesty, i do not know how you guys do it. it has got to be a huge commitment. i will say that it is much appreciated!

I enjoy moderating. It has it's ups and downs, usually more ups.
