Barr Flies is a terrfiic book by John Barr. Heard of the copper john fly? He invented it. There's a lot of great info in there about how to tie and fish that and a number of other patterns.
If you are looking for more information on nymphing, there's plenty more out there, but Kelly Galloup has a nice DVD on the subject.

I have a couple of nymphing books
Fishing the Nymph by Jim Quick (1960) may be a bit dated..
But Nymphing by Gary Borger (1979) is a classic

Hope this is not too late. Dave Hughs book wet flies is an excellent book about nymph and wet fly fishing. Rick hefela( sp) had a book/DVD come out last year all about nymphing that is also a#1 Last but not least Larry Tullis has a good book about nymphing - this one I hace read and I have spent time talking to larry about this subject. he is a good teacher.
