I posted in the Saltwater forum that the foot on my Albright GPX snapped off when heading out fishing the other night. I purchased the reel about 2 months ago so I called Northcove Outfitters because that's where I purchased the reel. They told me over the phone that they couldn't do anything for me. So I decided to call Albright directly. The guy I spoke to asked me a few questions then said he would send me a replacement foot via fed-ex for Saturday delivery. I recieved the foot and am no back in business. The foot shouldn't have broke but let me tell you something. I've never had a company be so responsive over defective material ever! Cudos to Albright Tackle company.

The Albright guys rock...watch for their sausage mobile visit...they go around in a camper and grill up sausages as well as let you demo all their products. All in all a fun time! The last one I went to was at Dave Goulet's shop in New Hartford. It would seem they performed more admirably than the front end retailer(was that diplomatic enough?....LOL)

The guy that owns Albright is the same guy that started Reddington. His service can not be beat. :)

I talked to the mgr at N Cove and he told me the story of Jim Murphy, the founder of Albright and how the company came to be. Not bad to be canned as CEO of Redington upon being "bought out" and have your own company, not only up and running, but at the trade show with product 8 weeks later.
