just a feeler...anyone see when it was coming out...a good book yet I hear they're leaning the movie towards a love story

According to IMDB.com, it's in post-production, which I think means it has all been shot and is in the editing room. My guess would be later this year.

It's going to be interesting to see if they can make this book into a good movie. There has been a whole lot of controversy surrounding this. The lawsuits were settled, and the (first) movie has been made. Apparently, the author has retained the rights to make his own version of the movie as well, due to the settlement.

I'm interested to see how they portray the first few chapters for sure. I may cry if he snaps his rod in the movie too :rolleyes:
