I don't know if any of you noticed Flyaddict.com had been hacked today. It may happen again, but I am working to make sure it doesn't happen again. Sorry for the inconvenience if we are down for any period of time.

I noticed...It was sometime mid afternoon. I typed in flyaddict.com and got re-directed to some hacker website. I immediately logged off, so I don't know exactly what it was. An internet explorer window popped up asking me if I wanted to translate text from turkish to english.

I think some terrorist organization is trying to recruit us. :roll:

I used to have a PHPBB on my old site and that happened all the time, mostly from some Turkish group. They wrote an automated script that crawls the web looking for out-of-date installations of PHPBB and exploiting some security loophole. It's important to keep forum software really up-to-date with the latest security patches when you're using an open source forum.

I always keep the forum updated. It was my main site built on Joomla. It was a security hole in an add on extension.

I liked the hot momma and the music, but knew right away the site had been hacked. Too bad these people don't put the energies to other uses,
