The Connecticut Fly Fisherman’s Association will present a fly fishing program on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Veteran’s Memorial Clubhouse, 100 Sunset Ridge, East Hartford, CT., at 7:00 pm.
Our first speaker is Paul Koopmann who will present Saltwater Fly Fishing on the Long Island Sound. Capt. Koopmann is USCG Licensed and has fished the Long Island Sound for his entire life. The last ten years with a fly rod in hand. As an Orvis Endorsed Guide his knowledge of the western Long Island Sound, coupled with the best tackle in the industry will ensure a safe and successful fishing experience. Capt. Koopmann is a member of the National Association of Charterboat Operators, Trout Unlimited, Coastal Conservation Association and CT Saltwater Fly Rodders.
