Should anyone be looking for a lodge to fish the Ruby river I would have to recommend the Upper Canyon Outfitters. Although its competetively priced, they have access to 13 miles of the Ruby river & is close to the Madison. Its 2hrs from Bozeman . The staff there are excellent. They are polite , happy, friendly, & the food was excellent. They have rooms in a small lodge & also have a few cabins. They are very flexable & will put together a package to fit your budget. So far 3 out of our group of 8 are going back next year...I have been going out west for the past 7 yrs & this is the first place I really have no complaints about at all. It was such quality fishing in such a relaxing atmosphere I can't say enough about it.
