I've recently joined the Audubon Society - mostly for the gate key they grant to a member who is also a fisherman & wants the access. The area looks great for fly fishing - any board readers have any experience on this piece of water ?
We took the kids there sunday to walk around and the wind coming in off the water was quite pleasant and made for a nice couple hours of exploring and wandering. There were too many boats in the area sunday for any fish to be present, but I would guess there might be a few nice blitzes in this area since it is the mouth of the Housatonic river - opposite the Short Beach in Stratford area.
