let me know. i have a friend that may join for a day or so and another fellow fly addict has shown interest in coming for a day. the weather can go either way at this time of the year. historically, in the mild years like this, fishing is quite good week of thanksgiving. in the colder years like last year, it can be slow.

I am going to wait and see on both the weather and the water levels. It was about 430CFS last weekend. Not sure how much lower flows will effect the fishing.

the flows have been the same for almost a month now. 1/2 gate plus run off.

they are holding the water at 335cfs through tuesday. the forecast is decent. no real rain predicted and highs around 50. ideal conditions IMHO. saturday am cannot come fast enough.

i am not sure if i would call it a shooting gallery, at least not in the spots where i fish. i like it lower for fly fishing. easier to wade and learn new water. conversely, there is less fishable water and the anglers do get more concentrated. i would take it at 350 cfs over 1200 or 1800 anyday. i have seen it like that at this time of the year as well. regardless, i am just happy to get out and do my thing.
