I just recently purchased the Temple Fork Outfitters TiCR rod in a 5wt. 9' 4pc. and Whoa! does this thing cast well. I have never fished with a four piece "travel rod" but i love this rod, it ha s a great backbone, and still enough finesse for smaller flies. I went from a very "slow" rod to this and it is night and day difference. I am a very satisfied customer.

Cheers and tight lines

This is The Fisherman's all-purpose rod of choice. I use it to throw streamers with a sinking tip line, weighted nymph rigs, and sz 26 Trico spinners on 7x. Plus, it's a lot of rod for the money, which we like. :D

I have the same rod in the 6wt version with the fighting butt. I love it!

I use it for nymphing and throwing streamers (including a 30 foot 250 grain sink tip).

I have used it up north for steelies.

Very Durable rod, I am notorius for beating the heck out of rods and have put this rod through the ringer, I have reccomended these rods (the TiCr series) to many friends, they are the best bang for the buck (IM not-so-humble O).
