Does a pop-up window open? Do you have pop-ups disabled on your browser?

Yes, I have a Pop Up Blocker, but, it launches a small window asking me if I want to allow this pop up or not ..... however, it does not come up when I try to see the video.
There is nothing there to attempt a launch of a video ... I can put my mouse over the title and it looks like maybe that would be the launcher but NOTHING happens.
Also, Andy's photograph is not gone .... just see a little red X

WHEN I CLICK ON THE WORDS "RUSY SPINNER" IT CHANGES COLOR LIKE IT WOULD BECOME A LINK BUT NOTTHING ELSE HAPPENS. I TURNED OFF POP UP BLOCKER.
PS THE GALLERY WORKS FINE NOW

Im not sure what to tell you. All you do is click Hackle Wing Rusty Spinner. It seems like you have some pop-up blocker on. What browser do you use? Maybe a scripting issue with your browser.

You need to make sure you have Flash Player 7 installed. Click on this link to which version of Flash Player you have. If you don't have at least version 7 then you can't view the video.

Try that and see what happens. Let me know.

Im not sure what the problem is then. I haven't had anyone else with this problem. Here is the direct link to the video.

http://www.flyaddict.com/static/hacklewingspinner.html

Just a note for future reference. If you mouse-over a link you should see the llocation(URL) of the file on the bottom left bar of your web browser. Let me know if the movie works.

Other things to check:Make sure you have Javascript enabled in your browser prefs. The pop-up is activated by Javascript. Either your browser doesn't understand it or it is turned off. That is my guess if it's not a pop-up blocker issue.

Thanks: I was able to watch the film this way but could not get any sound.
Don't know how to check for "Browser enabled java" etc. Don't know where to look.
Thanks

CTKenC,

Open Internet Explorer, on the Toolbar at the top click on "Tools", then Internet Options. Then click on the "Advanced" tab. Scroll down until you see the "Microsoft VM" header. "JIT compiler for virtual machine" should be checked. You really shouldn't need Java to be enabled in this area. I don't have Java installed on my laptop and I run the video fine from the website. Let me know if that doesn't work.

BTW - I'm not sure how old or new your machine may be so you it is possible that you wouldn't have the "JIT" on your machine. If this is the case then you may need Java or you could get the JVM (Java Virtual Machine) and install that. Let me know as I can help with that too.

Lar42 ... Thanks but "no dice" .... my PC's are both about 8-9 mos old, both running Win XP "Media Edition".
Both have Java 8.0
Struck out I guess .... but, I can see the video (w/o sound) in the clip the moderator was kind enough to send.

Sorry, Javascript is different than JAVA. The video doesn't need JAVA to run. The javascript action is activated by the link button. That seems to be the problem. You aren't even getting the pop-up correct?

CTKenC,

copy this link into a browser and hitthe Enter key. This will download the Microsoft JVM software. Make sure you know where it downloaded to and then double-click on the file and it will install. Reboot and see if you can watch the video from the website.

Did all that ... made no difference at all.
Let's forget about it. :(

CTKenC,

No problem, I understand. You start to lose interest in fixing the problem after a while. :-) I know cause I do too.

If you ever want or need to look into again, just let me know. I'll help you with it.
