Fixing a shooting guide's ceramic insert.

Question, for those who may know how to address this issue.

I broke the ceramic insert to my shooting guide on my rod the other day. What can I do other than sending it in to the manufacturer? Normally, I would send the rod in and let the pros deal with it but I am going on a trip this weekend and cannot wait a few weeks for a repair. Is it something I can fix myself? Can I buy a replacement ceramic insert or are those not sold? Thanks in advance!

ok this is out there but i did it once and it works, at least temorarily, but enough for a few trips to the salt. buy some five minute epoxy and put just a liitle bit in there and spin it slowly till it dries.repeat id needed. it's not pretty but it works
