Creative partner Kingsford and I just completed a poster for TU's "Back The Brookie" program. I've posted it in the gallery under other streams. It's just a thumbnail, so the copy is hard to read, but basically it's a series of brook trout images that date the eastern brook trout from 70,000BC to present. The final image is the warning shot, a skeleton of a brookie from the year 2015. The copy reads:

The eastern brook trout. Populations dating to the last ice age are now being decimated by sprawl, poor land and water management, forest loss and polution. To help us restore wild brook trout habitat, visit brookie.org.

The posters are printed on high quality cover stock, with a varnish over the fish photos that gives them a wet look. They will be available through local TU chapters (and possible local fly shops) for a few bucks.

This was a non-profit endeavor, and all proceeds will go toward clean water and (hopefully) more wild fish.

Wow. That's incredibly flattering. Sure. :D

Kirt Mayland is distributing them among the CT Chapters, so give him a holler to find out the whos, whats, and wheres. I'm sure you'll get one. These are very frameable.

We've done another bit of guerrilla marketing for TU/Back the Brookie that I'll reveal when I get some pics of it.

:D I want a signed copy as well. It is more than nice to see someone so talented get the recognition they deserve.

I guess I'd have to meet you guys out on the river sometime...I really don't know what to say, other than thanks. Guess I better get some Sharpies.

If you're a CT TU member, contact your chapter president to get one of these bad boys. We can figure out how to do a poster signing at everyone's convenience. :D
