Hello fellow fly-tiers,
Does anyone have a good (translate to cheap) place to buy hooks. Back in the 70's I bought a ton of hooks from a place called Cutthroat Hook Co. in CA. Remember mail order? I'm starting to run out of some of the odd hooks and sizes. As best as I can tell they are defunct. Help.

I usually dont buy many materials from mail or web but hooks are an exception check out this site

Also for a cool catalog check out Feathercraft, I havent gotten one in a long time now, but they used to put out a catalog that was better that any fly fishing mag; just plain cool - loaded with useful info

yeah i second the feather craft bulletin/catalog. They still do produce them, maybe you should have one sent online at their website? Another good one is Randall Kauffman's streamborn

I've bought a bunch of hooks from the fishguy:

Look like first quality hooks to me.
