I will be in NW CT in late June and understand that I will probably get into Adler flies, Cahills, and Sulphurs. I got the last two covered as we have the same bugs around here, but I am not very familiar with Alder flies. Do any of you guys have your standby pattern for these bugs that you would be will to post a chot of?

Mike....take the Kings River Caddis dressing in Jeff's book and substitute a peacock herl body and you should be good to go. Also, you can use a Neff style caddis with peacock herl body and coastal deer hair wing. They're very erratic fliers so sometimes skating the hackled pattern works best but other times dragging the hackle free(Neff) version under can produce explosive results. Hopefully I'll get my out of jail free card from my wife and show you myself!
