The Connecticut Fly Fisherman's Association is very pleased to announce that Lefty Kreh will be our featured guest speaker at our 37th. Fly Fishing Expo and Banquet.

This year our Expo and banquet will be held at Maneeley's Banquet Facility in S. Windsor. on Feb. 3rd.

Mary,
will he be doing any casting demos at the expo I hope so. Marydo you remeber the look on the wise A** kids face when we were at the Danbury show and the comment was made how about casting that far with a short rod. Lefty takes the tip off of the rod and then cast most all of the fly line with just the tip. Now that is way too cool. I may even go this year. i am thinking of volunteering to tye at the expo with lizzy. My motivate some of the older non tiers to try it. Hey I hear that a mutaul friend is VERY happy with his Steelhead rod you built. Thanks for all your hard work for the club

I am not sure what Lefty will be doing at the Expo and Banquet. We are in the process of finalizing those plans with him.
It is way cool to watch him cast with just the tip of the rod... not sure how he does it but it certainly makes me want to practice more and get alteast half the distance!

I would imagine you would be more than welcome to tye at the expo and Lizzie would be way fun to watch!!

Glad to hear that the rod I built is much appreciated, I really enjoy building them.
