I agree. It's friggin' thirteen feet long!
A ten foot five weight might also be something to consider. Also a good nymphing rod plus a little extra backbone if you want to cast a large streamer.
A few weeks ago I was up above Hitchcock nymphing and pulled up a small clump.
1. Wooley Bugger, hands down champ
2. Mickey Finn
3. Gray Ghost
4. Little Brook Trout - like a Mickey Finn but darker
5. Marabou Streamer - just marabou on a hook. Yellow works good.

My experience with Orvis is that they're pretty liberal on their returns/repairs policy (less so lately but they used to be ridiculous). I haven't tried it with a rod but when I sent a pair of wader...

Scary. That's exactly what I've done with the first two. But then I wondered if there was some method to the madness, hence this post. I'll let you know what results I find.
I'm tying an articulated streamer that I expect to fish in a stream with single hook regulations. So, the question is, which hook point to clip? The streamer has an eye on it so my gut tells me to...
Very nice, Steve. I'll have to bring a few wets with me.
So the answer looks like 2 weeks assuming no additional rainfall.
Knots. Yes.
