Default Loop to loop for shock tippet

Can anyone tell me a really good reason I can't tie perfection loops on the end of both my leader and shock tippet and do a loop to loop connection? I know the albright knot, but I stink at it and have tried to learn various others and I find them difficult too. I know practice makes perfect but I don't know why I can't just use the loops. I may lose a little strength but I don't seem to break these knots more often than a terminal clinch knot. Someone showed this to me once but I can't find anything online about others using it. Any thoughts?

Using it for bluefish. Its to go from 15# mono to 40# fluro (or mono, whatever I've got on hand).

IMHO, much like the honey badger, bluefish don't give a sh*t. Go for it. As long as it casts ok. The albright knot might have a smaller profile but i'm a big fan of using what you have confidence in. If it works, do it.

Yeah, the profile is definitely bigger but I think if you keep the loops smaller, once you put tension on them its not too.
