Since the thread is about streamer fishing I thought I might let everyone know that Rich Strolis will be presenting at the next FRAA meeting,"Techniques for Successful Streamer Fishing in New England and Beyond."
This month’s meeting date has been changed to Wed., Nov. 28th because of the Thanksgiving Holiday. As usual we will have snacks and our famous raffle. Doors open at 6pm with the meeting starting around 7pm at The Farmington Senior Center at 321 New Britain Avenue, Unionville CT 06085.
The fishing was good;it was the catching that was bad.~A.K. Best

I have a 150 gr SA Streamer Express line for my 5 wt rod that I use fishing streamers on the Housy. I fish unweighted streamers and don't hang up more often than I think I should. I lose flies but it happens about as much as it does when I'm nymphing.
