Ross Evolution LT

I jumped on the Limited Edition version of this reel in the rainbow pattern, and so far it's my favorite reel of all time. I can't get over how smooth the drag is, how light yet rugged it feels, and how beautiful it looks! My recent trip to Pulaski, NY had a few people asking me where I got it, and who made the reel. The anodizing itself is super durable, and I've laid the reel down on rocks to net fish quite a few times and I can't see a single scratch whereas other anodizing would have chipped or scratched in some way. They also have the reel in limited edition brook trout and brown anodizing which look just as amazing! I'm itching to grab a 3 wt in brookie pattern to put on a 3 wt....but I don't do enough of that kind of fishing yet to justify it.

Has anyone else owned an Evolution LT? What are you experiences with the reel? So far I have zero complaints..maybe a steep price tag at $400 for the limited editions, but so far it's been well worth it.

Bah, no...7 fish on and they all were eager come off. At least I got some action though.
